“The Sylvan Inn was a great Bed and Breakfast! The room we stayed in was really clean and cute for us when we got there and sharing a bathroom wasn’t as bad as we had initially thought! The staff was incredibly friendly in the morning for breakfast and got it out to us quickly each morning. The breakfasts were light and refreshing and so very tasty! The parking situation wasn’t terrible either. Overall a great stay and we will be coming back in the future!”

“Loved our view of the lake. The bedding was great. Drew showed us around. They have a beautiful porch to sit on and look at the lake.”

“The location is great. The conditions of the hotel, not so much. Our sheets looked slept in, hair everywhere and very wrinkly. The ice container had water in it with hair and food floating in it. The lobby smelled moldy. I was told by a local that the hotel is in a transition phase with switching owners. Hopefully it will improve because the location it amazing!”

“The indoor pool was so much fun for kids. It’s a great place to stay and you don’t have to leave.”

“We loved our stay. The only complaint that I have is the beds are stiff (hard). Great price, facility was clean, and the staff were very kind. They offer a shuttle to the casino.”

“This is a cute motel at the bottom of the dune climb. I've stayed here many times and will come back every summer. The beds are comfy. The room decor is cute. The staff is very responsive and friendly. My only complaint is the well water smell in the shower. But it does not stop me from staying here. I have stayed in most of the other motels in the area and this is my favorite one!”

“Musty, urine smelling room. Had to keep shoes on when walking around in the room because of the carpet. The vacuums they provide the cleaners do not get up against walls, so there's white powder along every wall and corner. Bugs in the over head lights and dead knots by the sink. Broke down matresses, and mildew in the tile around the shower. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a lot of grab and go options. I just didnt think based on over $200 a night, that it was going to……

“Nice facilities, and outstanding customer service... discovered after the fact that check in was required before 10p, but we were much thankfully cared for despite the late night arrival. Looking forward to future trips with them and highly recommend!”

“Our reservation was a for 3 but resources in the room were for 2. Service was great. Rom was ok, but communication and preparation was weak.”

“The parking on site is very convenient as is the free shuttle bus to downtown. The hotel is dated and simple. The elevators are dirty.so we used the stairs mostly. The staff were great and so was the breakfast. I’m old school and prefer key cards because remembering codes or having to pull your phone out when you’re carrying things is incredibly inconvenient.”
